We couldn't open our home away from home without our wonderful volunteers. We are particularly looking for people who can help in the following shifts:​

 

Current Volunteer Roles Needed

Most current shifts in 2024 filled however we are interested in floor/customer service volunteers on a Wednesday from 10am - 2pm (lunchtime is most needed 12 - 2pm)

We are also looking for volunteers for 2025 as follows:

Mondays - Floor/Customer Service and help with close 10am - 2pm

Thursdays - Kitchen help with Food Prep (toasties, milkshakes etc) 9.15 - 1.00pm

What is required?

• You need to be 17 or over and available in school term time (we are closed in the school holidays)

• if 18+ you will need a Working With Children's Check for volunteers

• You will have an informal interview followed by an induction with our Volunteer Coordinator. 

• We'll need to do a Referee Check ( 2 x Character References)

• To note if needed we are registered with Centrelink for volunteer hours

Once you have completed the induction you'll need to complete a short 30-60 min online course 'Doing Food Safely'

Then you'll be all set to go. We will provide all training needed.
